Still Remember

“Hi, Nad, how’s life?”

“It’s fine,” I replied.

“It’s been a year after our last chat,” he made a fake smile.

“Hm, I think so and can I help you? To be honest, I’m busy right now,” I said clearly.

“Oh, nothing, I just want to say hi, but you can back to your business now, have a nice day!”

He was offline then. I froze on my chair, didn’t know what I was supposed to do. I wasn’t busy at that time, I lied to him because it was too hard to have a chat with him. It was hard when the guy is your ex friend. Perhaps, he’s not my ex friend, but he’s my friend in the past.

He was a new student when I was in elementary school. He lived in Central Java for 7-8 years, but with his parents, he moved to Yogyakarta. He was in the same class with me, and there was a rumor that he liked me and vice versa. The rumor was 100% wrong. I like to talk with other people even new people and I do till now. So, I enjoyed talking to him.

When we graduated from elementary school, we had a different way. Yeah, because we had a different junior high school. We kept in touch with some social networking for 3 years and it was ended when we graduated from our junior high school. We didn’t talk after it.

Suddenly, after a year, he tried to come back into my life.

  1. Same as my experience...
Did words 'he' refer to me, Dhif?
